First, I apologize for not having pics, yet.
Second, it is a Donaldson. The one I cut open is an EaO15 (bought from Pablo
), which is a Motorcraft FL-1A equivalent.
Unlike Donaldson's P169071, which also has a white, synthetic element, this filter has endcaps and a bypass which are identical to the Donaldson 550008. Instead of the 550008's nitrile ADBV, the EaO15 has a silicone ADBV.
What is interesting to me is that the Donaldson P169071 is virtually identical to the Fleetguard LF3487 (Fleetguard is owned by Cummins), but the EaO15 appears to be pure Donaldson.
When it comes to filters with elements such as the one this possesses, surface area appears to be completely irrelevant, but just so you know, according to my measurements it is 179 sq.in.
Just my observations; I'll be posting photos soon.
