It's called Cursive and the vineyards are in New Mexico, of all places.
We bought a few bottles of the sparkling brut locally for a mere $5.99 a bottle and it isn't bad.
You would never confuse it with something French or even a Cava, but it is an okay wine, pleasantly dry although pretty light bodied.
For the price, a decent deal for a decent sparkling wine, which we like to drink on Fridays to celebrate the end of the week, since I am still working while wife is retired. We are drinking some now.

Is it sweet? I have yet to find a wine I like. I think I’d like a sweet one though.
Manischewitz fruit wine for you, perhaps?

If you get hooked, don’t blame me.

Just get AM hooked on Transfusion Cocktails. Vodka, ginger ale, Concord grape juice, and maybe lime juice. Great with eggrolls.

I used to drink sweet wines, but now that I am older I can no longer tolerate alcohol. It keeps me awake at night interfering with sleep.
