Yamaha make an additive for stuck rings YAMALUBE Ring Free Plus

Looks like Yamalube is formulated for gasoline. Would it work for diesel also?

Just to be devils advocate..i think it was designed to clean carbon from rings of the Cummins ISX but was a bandaid. Cummins figured out antipolishing rings were a better solution.

I’ve heard something similar. As the population of affected ISX declines/gets fixed/customers stop asking for Warranty, the Restore lube will be phased out. Updated ISX/QSX have improved ring pack.
