A 51R is a small battery. That was the OE battery in my Kubota diesel tractor. I was able to fit a group size 35, Interstate battery from Costco, 640 CCA.

Funny thing, you reminded me of something. When I was a kid my parents' neighbor had a Snapper lawn mower with an electric starter. The oem Honda battery in my car totally reminded me of her lawnmower's battery haha! Good memories! I remember that I thought it was so cool that her lawnmower used a key to start just like a car!

I bought the bigger battery, the size 35. Perfect fit! Fits like a glove! It has a date code of 8/20. Nice and fresh!

Make sure to get the battery load tested first. Because the starter on that vehicle goes out a lot
