OK now it's time to get my lard arse in gear. No neck excuses.

1) Increase output. Move the thing. Walk the dogs, ride the bike, get out and chase something. Do the four pages of strengthening exercises I got from the PT, once a day everyday, twice a day every other day. I paid good money for them! No rest - I rest enough loafing on BITOG

1A) Increase flexibility - boy have I lost my limberness by compensating for the neck and left arm - plus just carrying the extra baggage. I'll be 50 in 7 months, I don't feel old, but I just can't stand straight, with knees locked, bend at the waist and put my palms flat on the ground. That sucks. The PT also gave me some flex training stuff. Use it!

2) Decrease input. Cut out the shet carbs and sugar garbage. Protein up. Water and plenty of veggies with a good mix of the raw and the cooked. Only very dilute fruit juice if at all. No milk, white flour, etc. Only tiny amounts of soy milk.

2A) Supplement up. I started taking THESE on MONDAY and I feel like a new animal. It says to take 6 per day - crikey that's expensive - 2 or 3 is plenty. These vitamins don't give me a stomach ache like those nasty Costco multivites.

I probably shouldn't go public with this, but I figure if I hang it out there it will help "incentivise" my large lard butt. The main thing is to get that internal fire stoked and keep it burning.

Carry on.

Wow! I'm already tired just reading about it...

I was going to ask if those were synthetic or dino vitamins but decided not to.

They might be designed for middle-aged ladies. Don't rust, Pablo!

OOOPS!! I'm thinking "iron"? What the heck? Sure enough I posted the wrong product! I bought the vits without iron.

Vities without iron

The ones you posted would have given high Fe readings on your UVAs

Pablo,
good luck with the new you.

My better half lost 35 lb in the 6 months leading up to Christmas simply by dropping 4 slices of bread per day and cycling a half hour each weekday morning.

Check out the SNAC vitamins at bodybuilding.com. I'm on my first bottle, lots of engergy!

I wouldn't supplement ANY iron, unless my doc told me to.

I had blood tests done, before and after eating very little meat for a year, and no iron supplements, not even from fortified foods, and tests showed lots of iron. Ferritin levels were high normal before, and went to mid normal after the no-added-iron diet.

Indeed, unless you are a bleeder pig men can get plenty of iron with a reasonable diet. It's cool (to me) that I can get the same set-up in vitamins sans iron.
