For the Napa oil users...

...being a BITOGer, this has me wondering. If Napa can get ashland to put their dino oil in 5 quart jugs, why can't they put their synthetic in jugs too? I emailed NAPA, and they did not know either...

I can see kinda why, as some of the local lube places like it that way. But for the rest of us, some jugs would be nice...

I'm hoping for some for the next sale, as the cases are getting harder to store...(and even carquest has their syn in jugs too)...

He's right - I looked it up at the NAPA website - it only comes in quart bottles. $5.49

I haven't seen syn in jug form, only qts. It would probably be a bit cheaper, so that would be cool (plus AAA discount).

I have a mix of NAPA and NG conv in my wife's Maxx right now. It was less than $10 for a quality oil change.

You actually got a response back? I've e-mailed them several times in the past and have yet to receive a reply from anyone. None of my inquiries were complaints or negative in anyway.

That oil is still cheaper than most other syns when it is on sale so it doesnt matter to me what it comes in.

Does anyone know the timing of the next NAPA syn oil sale? I picked several cases a while back but can't remember the date.

That's a good point. Why isn't it available in the 5qt jug? Oh well, I actually like using the single quart anyway. When it's $3.49 I stock up.

The only reason they probably sell it in 5L jugs up here is because they wouldn't be able to sell much at per litre bottle pricing.
