Give one of these Kendall distributors in Illinois a call.

Kendall

$5.94 a quart shipped to Chicago from here.

Kendall 5W-40 shipped

Nice find. I don't own a European car but they have the GT-1 5w20 for my car for $5.60 a quart, shipped.

Could probably get Edge with Ti at Walmart for a similar price but where's the fun in that?

Any way to tell which is the full syn, and which is the syn blend? I seem to only ever find what I THINK is the Syn Blend on shelves locally.

I was planning on giving Kendall a try in the VW, but Canadian Tire has a good sale on M1 and with the Canadian Tire money I had stashed away, the 0W-40 was too good a deal to pass up.
Maybe next time.

Still planning on giving Kendall a try in the Nitro next OC....hopefully LOL

I guess the question here is - it's relatively the same price as Rotella Syn 5W-40, and not as easily available. Anybody have any way to directly compare the 2? I found spec sheets on their site, and there are plenty of VOA's or Rotella here.

FWIW, I bought two cases of this. On the back of the bottles it says "Product of Korea. Blended & Packaged in the U.S.A."

Back of bottle also says "ConocoPhillips manufactures a family of quality lubricant products which may contain common formulations."
