Between a buddy of mine and myself, we are trying to organize our oil stocks based on manufacturing dates. We have some jugs and quart bottles of Mobil 1 and Pennzoil Platinum. The Pennzoil Platinum has a date code that precedes the new format. Can anyone show us how to read these things? Searches here and via Google haven't turned up much. Thanks!

If alot of them end inthe same digit, being 6 or 7, that should be the year.
It is 11/14/07 @ 11:59 AM. The 440738 is the batch number. Check the first part again under a strong light. Should be HLPV (Houston Lube Plant)
