I am not sure if the AMSOIL 0W-20 Signature Series is high in sodium but I would definitely be willing to give the pressure test a try or possibly even another oil change at a different lab like Blackstone to confirm if WIX is accurate.

I didn't see milky looking engine oil last time I did my change and it was pitch black. My coolant is green; did not see anything milky or brown colored. I did add some coolant but mainly to top it off.

I haven't had a chance to take a look at the back/bottom of the engine but that would probably be a smart choice.

Hi All, Here's the oil analysis at 73.3k miles and it appears that there's coolant found in my oil. Not sure if I agree or disagree as I don't even know how to test for this but if anyone has any advice, please let me know.

I hope so as well. I'm planning to do my next ATF drain and fill within 10-20k. A bit earlier than I was anticipating but better off knowing if my tranny isn't toast I guess.

So I did 3 drain and fills and 2 pan drops. Reason why I did a second pan drop was because the RTV wasn't sealing properly and I saw a puddle so I had to redo the process. I took the sample on the first drain and fill.

I hope it's not skewed, I think they ran the test twice but I can't confirm. Would you mind elaborating on why it "wouldn't be that way"? Thanks!

The baseline would be to get a starting point of unadulterated oil/fluid to compare against used fluid/oil to see how much additives is remaining. Is Polaris the only one seems to offer the most data for the price, assuming you bought it in bulk? It appears that NAPA/WIX only has TBN included but is there other alternatives that include TBN + TAN as well without paying $50/test?

I will try it one last time with the Mobil 1 filter and see if the results are consistent. If it is, then I will not go past 10k anymore.

I already put in 5 qts of AMSOIL Signature but afterwards, I'll give Mobil 1 a try and see how it goes. Just curious, why would a high iron content be bad? I honestly have no idea why it would thicken.

I think I probably messed up on that part where they asked me for make up oil. I was interpreting it as, "how much oil did you add back into the car after the drain"? To clarify, I did not add any extra oil into my engine at all.
