Just the tip of the iceberg fellas. I could have posted twice as many links but this should get the point across. http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?11416-Critial-warning-re-fram-filters https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/fram-filters-nightmare-story.295635/...

    Bad Fram filter

I could fill up an entire page with links dealing with anti-drain back problems, manufacturing defects, "never again" stories, and other assorted Honeywell/FRAM filter issues. Where there's smoke there's fire gentlemen and when you screw a FRAM on (excluding Ultra) you're playing with fire.

    Bad Fram filter

An actual mechanic who does nothing but change Frams all day just told the apologists why he hates them and the nickname came out of nowhere.

First post: LS460 with more vibration after M1

Flame suit on! Yesterday I drained my 0w-20 M1 (confirmed) and replaced with 0w-20 Valvoline at Hendrick Lexus of Charlotte and yes, it's smoother. The engine is back to being silk (instead of throaty with more cabin vibration) and merging into traffic left no doubt there is in fact a difference...

Not unless I was in a serious bind. The media could be completely brittle by now.

2012 Lexus LS460 Shift Flare when cold

Hello Everyone, Since my OP I've verified the transmission fluid is filled to the appropriate level. I did another drain and fill (I only get about 3 quarts each time, so far I've done 2 for a total of 6 quarts of fresh fluid). I still notice the slight (300-400 rpm) occasional shift flare only...

    WOW Air coming to CVG

CVG probably won't ever recover from the Delta pullout but it's nice to see it's still an attractive location for a low cost carrier.

Is the J that important in the VIN?

Fellas, I ask for your opinion on whether you'd rather have your vehicle made in Japan or in an American plant. Let's take loyalty out of the equation and say for example you had the choice between a made in Mississippi Corolla, and a made in Japan Scion... Would you go out of your way for...
