Hi , Just cut open this filter, the filter element is not too bad, but the plastic inner, and paper end cap make it cheap construction. Plus I don't see a bypass system in this filter. If any one can explain that one to me, most have some sort of valve. I wouldn't use this filter

I found this the other day while wiring up a light fixture going to my cellar, it was sitting next to the door header. Looks like it say's (DRIER) on it with raised letters and across from it an arrow. I took it apart found a small spring in it. Look's old, just wondering what it is.Thank's !

After watching my own video I don't think I want to put this filter back on again ever.(The leaf spring was flat).What do you guy's think, could the filter been running in bypass mode, or is it okay. Scary thought.
