Yes, but no fix is there, so going to do what I can and be prepared if engine still blows. Temperature I think is it's separate issue as well, so is RTV.

I have BRZ as well. What was the approximate temperature? Crossed 270? Mine stayed short of 270, I approximated to 250. It's great to hear you can hit advance group without a cooler. I think I would be spending one more year at least in beginner.

Got it now. When I first googled Subaru ascent oil cooler, a heat exchanger picture showed up. That's where I got confused because my car already has that. I will do some digging and see if it has radiator type cooler.
