If you are only putting on ~ 2K-3K miles/year, have you considered buying pre-owned(anything)? If buying new, I'd look for a Camry at the best price you can get one for even though I like driving Altima's because they fit me well and have actually served me well but now without some issues...

I've only used SuperTech or WearEver DOT3 brake fluid in my GM's, Chrysler's, Honda's, Toyota's, Mazda's & Nissans without any issues.
