Do tire places still frown on tire sealer?

I believe that a tire installer would still like to know if the vehicle owner has used a tire sealer in any of the tires.

    Buick 401 Nailhead Oil

I hope that I am saying this correctly... Don’t be afraid to use synthetic oils, as most of today’s synthetic oils are of a Group III chemistry which is Hydro processed-pumped out of the ground motor oil. It’s the Hydro processing that changes the chain molecules to rival the PAO synthetics...

I sure do miss cheap oil.

When I discovered BITOG in the early '00's, I was buying oil after rebate for .49c-.69c/qt. There were even double rebates going on at that time from the oil co. & the parts store that I purchased from. Often allowing me to profit a $mall amount when all was said & done. For example...

Inspecting old brake pads/rotors to find a problem..

That's what it sounds like to me. Or the hydraulic brake line may be chaffed on the inside after all of these years(coincidently), and now it has made itself present/noticeable.

    2024 Altima S vs 2024 Malibu LS

2024 is the last model year for the Altima as well. Nissan is not redesigning it for the next model year. Maxima is gone as well...I think, last year.

Ever had a engine or Transmission failure?

Yes! A complete failure in a Torqueflite 727 3 speed auto in my '73 Newport Custom. And the 2nd one was giving my issues before I dumped the car. And shift flaring in my '04 Nissan Altima 2.5S 4 speed auto but no failure. '93 Dodge Ram that was co-owned my me & a buddy went through the OE and 2...

Early Oil Change on New VW EA888?

Our 2023 Venza Hybrid calls for 10,000 mile OCI's. Toyota will do the first 2 OCI's at 10K & 20K in the first 2 years. I changed out the FF at 2700 miles and again(3600 miles later) at 6300 miles. I will let the dealer change the oil & filter(3700 miles after) at 10,000 miles. This may be over...

Inspecting old brake pads/rotors to find a problem..

My sister once had a '99 Camry XLE V6 and she never had this kind of success with her brake pads or rotors. I replace brakes in her Camry 2X by 100K miles.

    2016 Mustang GT oil recommendation

Mobil1 sold at Walmart is not made for a price, it’s the same exact mobile one you can buy anywhere else and it Has to be by API regulations … If I’ve said that correctly. Mobi1 may be sold cheaper at Walmart but that’s only because they buy more of it. Walmart SuperTech Synthetic & ST filters...

    Switching to 5w30

Does your owner's manual allow for the 5W30 during the warranty period? If so, use it.

    2024 Altima S vs 2024 Malibu LS

If you are only putting on ~ 2K-3K miles/year, have you considered buying pre-owned(anything)? If buying new, I'd look for a Camry at the best price you can get one for even though I like driving Altima's because they fit me well and have actually served me well but now without some issues...

    brakes sticking after rain?

That’s normal to me. We used to drive one vehicle on vacation for 3-4 weeks while leaving our other vehicle outside at home. When we returned, the brakes were locked up and needed to be driven for quite some time to clean off all of the rust. Sometimes I’d even have to change out the rotors if...

    Fresh Oil filter Every time?

I do believe that many people underuse their oil filters, as it is the most often changed filter on our engines. Not that I believe in using an oil filter for 20K miles nor the 20K mile OCI's. But you can believe what you wish. We all do what helps us sleep at night. I do believe and it is...

    Lots of options! 205/65/16

I really only think that the customer reviews on any tire will tell you more. And too, depending on what your priorities are, which tire is best for you & your wife. Do you want better ride/quiet, better mpg, better handling, better foul weather performance, what?

Where Is The EV Sweet Spot?

Seems as though you have really thought this out well. And I think that if people do their own math, they could come up with similar dollars such as you did. Well done! (y)
