    16 RAM 6.4 Hemi-Mobil 1 0w-40 ?

I have a 16 RAM 2500 6.4 Hemi that uses 0w-40 oil. While it is under warranty I have used the very hard to source Pennzoil Ultra Platinum that meets a new obscure Chrysler spec. I can source locally and would like to use Mobil 1 0w-40 Euro formula oil. It is an SN rated oil like PUP. Any...

NV 5600 and Amsoil MTF not getting along.

I recently changed the factory fill on my Dodge 3500 4x4 truck's NV5600 6spd to Amsoil MTF. The tranny is noticably harder to shift and very "notchy". I'm going to dump the Amsoil MTF and refill. Any suggestions on replacement lube that meets the Chrysler MS-9224?

    16 Dodge RAM 3500 w/ 6.4L Hemi - Oil spec ???

Looks to me like Dodge is specing a 0 or 5w-20 oil for this HD truck engine. This engine uses some sort of cylinder cut off for cruise. My last 4 trucks have been Dodge/Cummins 5.9 diesel trucks, so I'm out of the loop on gas engines. What are alternative oils for this engine with increased...

Anybody have Dodge Ram 3500 w/6.4L Hemi gas engine

I'm in the market for a new HD truck, and I'm curious about this one. What's good or bad about this engine? My last 4 trucks have been Dodge 3500 Cummins diesels, and I currently have an 04 and 07. I'm keeping both of these Cummins trucks for heavy towing, probably will them to my hiers. I...

Mixing HDEO within that brand? and a couple more?

Is there any reason that I couldn't mix, say, Rotella T6 5w-40 and Rotella T 15-40? Im thinking that perhaps a 50/50 mix in Summer and maybe 75/25 T6/RT for Winter unless I use 100% RT6. My father always told me to shake an oil bottle before using to reintegrate the components. Any truth to...

    2004 Dodge 3500 diff + NV5600 fluids ?

I'm about to change diff and tranny fluids on my 04 Dodge 3500 4x4 w/Cummins diesel. I have app. 125k on these fluids, so it's time. I can source M1 75-90 synthetic GL-5 locally, as well as Pennzoil synchromesh MTF, which is supposed to meet the MS9224 spec. Any opinions on this choice...
