My 2002 V70 2.4T gets Mobil 1 5-30 HM. On the Mobil 1 site, they suggest 5-30 for this car. Six months or 5,000 miles for me. I did an UOA years ago with my 2001 V70 T5M with around 8,400 miles using Mobil 1 5-30 HM, and Blackstone said to go 10,000 miles. I'm happy with the 5-30 stuff.

I bought Formula Shell years back when Pep Boys was giving rebates. I did a 3,000 mile run with straight 30 wt oil, and Blackstone labs said it was so clean that I could resell it. My 93 MB 190e 2.3 is still on the road with 274,000 miles. Back then it was $.49 to $.59 a quart with the rebate.

I change the oil every year, use Ethanol free gas, and run it every month or two for 10-15 minutes. My HS928 is around 15 years old.

It was the coil. I was just waiting for a nice day to do the job. Started on the first pull! My 25 year old John Deere SB14 lawn mower started on the second pull after sitting in the outside shed all winter. Thanks!!
