Hmmm... compelling evidence from both sides of the argument! I think it could all be solved by finding concrete evidence of the presence, or lack thereof detergents in 300V I think I'm leaning more towards Redline now...

Thanks for the replies so far! I've heard that NISMO oils are just Motul oils repackaged and priced up to NISMO-spec So I shouldn't be worried about the lack of detergents in the Motul 300V then? Do the Redline Engine oils contain detergents in their mixed-in additives?

G'day guys... New member from Australia here... I've got a freshly built Nissan Skyline GTR, pushing about 600hp, plus upto 75-100hp Nitrous shot. It is 90% road driven car, with visits to the racetrack as often as I can get there (perhaps once every 2 months). The engine is being shoehorned...
