    Curb Rash on Camaro tires

Cooper Zeon RS3-G1s pictured. 2800 miles on them. Front left of my Camaro met a curb while turning into a business entrance an 80 year old Altima driver was going the wrong way. Sidewall damage is no fun, but how does this look to you all? Looks like just the rim guard got scraped. No bubbles...

    September is Suicide Awareness Month

I'm not one to share "pass is on" posts, and this isn't one of them. This is from my heart, I've lost 3 brothers-in-arms this week to the "22" I'm not gonna get political either. Right now is a tough time for this country with a certain illness going on still, and its a tough time for...

    Original Performance 115 30 002 Cut Open

A year or so back had a bad experience with CarID (never again!) anyway, they gave me a 10$ gift code so I spent it on this. Longer than the OEM filter for my ladies 2012 Fiesta, it appears to be similar to the L20195 Purolator Classics of yesteryear in size and build. Overall lasted well over 6...

    Korean Baseball

This is exciting. ESPN is playing Korean baseball. Finally live sports! Pretty sad that its not in Korean though. The English announcers are pretty boring. I did find a few Korean audio streams though on YouTube

4,541 mi Mahle OC 614 Cut Open

As a follow up to my virgin filter cut open here This is a Mahle OC 614 changed at a little over 4,500miles. Oil of choice at this change was Phillips 66 Shield Choice 5w20. As per my conversation with mahle they rate these filters up to 10k which I have no doubts this thing can go that far...

    Dune & other Sci-Fi novels

I read Dune a long time ago, like 10 years ago, anyway I recently picked up a really nice copy from B&N and re-read it. Then I just finished watching the movie again. Apparently a new movie comes out toward the end of this year, and from what I gather it's the start of a series of movies on...

    Clover Overseeding.

Tell be about it. Have you done it? Roommate has 2 dogs. They're sorta rough on the land, leaving trails. Neighbors dont mow to the right, so I'm fighting the thistles and dandelions that make their way this way, but I dont mind clovers. Actually am looking at doing the entire backyard now as a...

Bought a new pair of boots.

Since the interstates around Austin were barren yesterday (never have gotten anywhere via I35 that fast before!) I went exploring yesterday. Found a Red Wing store. As a wearer of Iron Rangers I decided to stop by, as I never been in their stores before, just authorized resellers/online...

    SD40 Guide Rod ?'s

So I am the owner of an SD40VE. Anyway, its a nice pistol, the trigger isnt the greatest and it isnt the prettiest gun but its not the worst I've come across. The one thing I dislike about this pistol is the plastic guiderod/recoil spring assembly (mainly why I dont carry it), and upon further...
