    Ultra 0w40 burns off faster...

I have been using Pennzoil SRT 0W 40 in my car since new, it burned oil for the first 4000 miles or so now I am at 15700 and oil level doesn't really change between oil changes and that's with oil temps between 230 - 240. and I know M1 0W 40 is better but I have a life time warranty. Montrose

Michelin Super Sport and PS2 - terrible traction

just my 2 cents old used mixed matched tires and low temps is the problem. I have a 2013 Challenger SRT8 and I have PSS's on it right now 245/45R20 front and 255/45R20 on the back and I haven't had any problems with traction and it makes 470 HP and 470 TQ. Montrose

    $1300 brake job on a Charger SRT8. = ???!!!

yep that price is about right for pads and rotors, the front pads alone are about 360 a set from the dealer, the rear pads are cheaper but not by much and the rotors are not the same that comes lets say on a smartcar, and for how long they last well soft pads on a heavy car thats going to...

    2011 HEMI 5.7 oil recommendation

when i said that using a weight other than 5w-20 may cause the MDS lifters to act up not damage the motor or anything like that what it can do is cause them to collaps slower or pump up slower opon MDS kicking on or off, the 6.4 Hemi uses 5w-40 as all new SRT cars and SUV's do now and they all...

    2011 HEMI 5.7 oil recommendation

I was talking about from 2003 to now, since the ring pac hasn't really changed since then, it's what I noticed on mine and on one SRT engineers chat session they stated that if you baby it too much on break in it will take longer for the rings to seat and burn more oil, I have been hard on mine...

    Chrysler 300C SRT8 2012

I will take a fake 465 HP 300 with better safety, better brakes, better handling, better gas mileage over a real 300HP 300, but in the end it comes down to buy what you like & like what you buy. but that’s just me. Montrose

    2011 HEMI 5.7 oil recommendation

both will work well, I use them in my 6.1, and Mobil 1 oil filter M1-210, now Redline suggest not using their oil until like something after 3000 miles, and New Hemi's will burn almost 1/2 qt every 1000 miles until about 3000 to 4000 miles after that mine doesn't burn enough to notice between...

    Overheating Durango, I give up!

I know current T-stat temps chrysler likes to use is 203, what is it for that year, with a 203 t-stat my normal coolant temps are around 210, also most replacment t-stats from mopar have the hole with a toggle in it to burp air before the t-stat gets up to temp to open. Montrose

    Dealer Oil Mistake?

i would take it back and have them redo the oil change, 5w-20 is for 5.7 Hemi's with MDS, every other challenger uses 5w-30 or 0w-40, just my 2 cents. Montrose
