Unless you have a turbo diesel.....in which case they will fold up and suck into the intake. with the possibility of a ruined engine. Still not as bad as the K&N oil soaked [censored].

Fram is probably fine for your use. If you had a turbo diesel engine, it would be the LAST filter you would want, as the turbo would suck the filter into little bits and swallow them with MAJOR repercussions!
