    According to Google Tron the M1 esp 5w30 has a VI of 187. I will look for 0W30. Viscosity Index, ASTM D2270 of 0w30 is 180. The LX is 204 VI

    It took 1/2 a day they said they took some measurements on different parts, I didnt ask parts. The Tech explained they also wanted pics of the cylinders which turned out to look just like new. The Tech said The cross hatching had zero wear as well. It only had 60k miles on it so not a big amount.

    Engine break in.

    People quote cars from the 80s 90s saying change the oil at 500 miles. Oil was crap back then. Haven't really seen any info proving doing that does anything really except get rid of the assembly lube. GM still says you have to do it in the Corvette so maybe yes, so says GM.

    If it was heat cured, the whole paint booth warms up it could be a couple days, even so most say wait 3 - 4 weeks. Gimpy1 is one the right track. Ask the shop where you got the work done.
