    Any dex 6 will work great, the stock cooler is in the rad with no thermostat....if you are going to install an aftermarket cooler you can use the stock setup inline with the new cooler or not it's you're choice

    I do not recommend towing in OD....the manufacturers set up transmissions to shift into OD baby soft because of all the soccer moms buying suburbans and expeditions to haul they're only child around..... Also it doesn't take much throttle input in OD for a downshift under that kind of load so...

    You don't want anything solvent like in the fuel or it will brake down the oil and ruin it.......I would get out a small bush set and some brake clean o something like that

    I go gti.....all the emissions equipment on the tdi makes them very complex and prone to problems the old tdi's never had to deal with and any repair to the oil burner is going to cost you...also because of the dpf's active regen cycle real world mpg figures are lower than you would expect.....
