    A fuse question

One will blow first. Keep in mind that a 15 amp fuse will not always blow at exactly 15 amps. A continous 13 amp load may cause a 15 amp fuse to blow while an start up load of 17 amps may not. It isn't the current that causes a fuse to blow but rather the build up of heat.

    Ridiculous idea from Lexus

It isn't just the price of the car. Interest rates, dealer accessories, trade in, rebates, and payment terms still make a huge difference. I view this as a step in the right direction.

    Used oil and cold temps?

Yes. An oil's characteristics will change during the OCI. Generally speaking: lighter oils will burn off first and VII will break down. So in an extreme case, 0w-40 could resemble a 10w-30 after hard use.

    Question on freezer test..except warmer

Not to attack the darling of the BITOG community, but... In order to achieve the cold flow properties required for a 0w oil, a higher percentage of VII are needed. That makes the oil prone to lose of viscosity from shearing.

I stopped by the dealer last Saturday, but they didn't have them in yet. My problem is that they cost as much as the 1500. For the price, one would be better served to go with a larger truck.

How is the AAP Autocraft Platinum AGM battery?

I got one last year. So far, I am really pleased with it. It isn't uncommon for me to leave my truck sitting for a couple weeks while I am traveling - batteries don't normally last long for me. AGM batteries need special chargers.
