Got a score of Mobil 1 0w30 AFE

WARSTUD, I'm not worried about the 0, I more concerned about the 30 viscosity opposed to the 20.

Got a score of Mobil 1 0w30 AFE

Went to all the local Auto Zones today and scored 29 quarts for $2 bucks a piece! My dilema.,,,2014 Toyota Sienna XLE speced for 0w20. Do ya all think 0w30 will hurt anything? The van has got about 6,300 miles on it. I've got a Lexus GX 470 that will love it as well.

To buy a town & country or not

I had a 2008 T&C. The powertrain was solid. It had the 3.3L with the 4 speed transaxle. Never had a problem with the engine at all. The tranny had a soleniod pack leak and it was replaced under warranty. The rest of the van is total junk! I can't tell you how many times I needed new brakes. 2...

    Kendall 0w20

Thanks all! I've been riding the Pennzoil Plat. band wagon and want to stay with what the dealer uses for the free oil changes. Looks like the Kendall is a great oil! I will use with confidence.

    Kendall 0w20

All, Just bought a new 2014 Toyota Sienna XLE with the 3.5L The Toyota dealer uses Kendall 0w20. I have been using Pennzoil platinum. Is Kendall 0w20 just as good? Don't see too much about Kendall motor oils around here. Need a little schooling on the difference between the two oils. Thanks all!

2008 Chrysler Town and Country 3.3L 143,000 on 5w20 only. Engine has been flawless and uses about 3/4 of a qt between OLM oil changes which are around 5-6k. I wish I could say everything else on this van has been flawless...NOT

    Need advice for a friend

Thanks All for the responses. To answer a few ?'s. It is his personal car. Not sure if they reimburse gas and or mileage. Never asked. The car just seems to keep on going. If it were my car, I would let it idle. I've had a few co. cars that I would let idle all day long...9-10 hours every day...

    Neutral VS Reverse

Thanks for all of the responses. Just wasn't sure if there was more wr and tr to the tranny going to R instead of N. From the posts thus far, it doesn't seem like there is. Is a gear a gear? I understand the safety aspect for sure. I have 3 kids and safety is always on my mind. Just wanting my...

    Neutral VS Reverse

All, My wife thinks I'm crazy. I probably am.... When I come out of the garage or the driveway, I put our vehicles in N instead of R and let force of nature take them down. It is not steep driveway, but when you put the vehicle in R you go down at the same rate. Is there any advantage in...

2nd owner of an 08 Dodge Grand Caravan

Mark72, Nice purchase. I have a 2008 T&C with the 3.3l with 135,000 on it. I have used Pennzoil in the yellow bottle almost exclusively. My engine will use about 1/2qt between the oil change which is usually about 4-6k. I would look at the brake history very carefully. These vans go thru brakes...

    Toyota W/S vs. Toyota IV

Hey all! What is the difference between the 2 above? Last October the dealer put in Toyota IV while doing a flush on my Lexus GX470 when it needed W/S. I drove it about 250 miles with the IV in it and then they did another complete flush putting in the W/S. Will that hurt anything?

2012 Chrysler T&C Oil Temp and Pressure

I have a 2008 T&C with the 3.3L. It has been an OK Van except for brakes...I looked at a used 2012 T&C Van this past week. The tranny was horrible..... It seemed like it wanted to shift way to quickly and it would get into OD at 35MPH. In my opinion, it is the worst tranny I have ever been...

Toyota WS vs. Toyota Type 4 fluid

Thanks All!! The ticket states they used Type IV fluid the first time around. That is when I freaked out and I knew it took WS. On the second time around, I insisted I watch them do the complete flush and I watched them pour in 12 qts of Toyota WS into the flush machine. I am taking it to a...

Toyota WS vs. Toyota Type 4 fluid

Thanks all. Are these 2 fluids not compatible? If not what may happen if the full fluid exchange didn't get 100% of he T4 out of the tranny?
