Mobil 1 is a site sponsor. It seems like Mobil 1 has been catching a lot of flak here lately. Can one of the Admins/Mods do a Q&A like the one done for Pennzoil Ultra?

So what synthetic oils are fully using polyalphaolefin base stocks and which ones are not? Are Mobil 1 and Amsoil? What about the others? I know all Group III, IV, and V base stocks are considered synthetic. I read that Pennzoil Ultra is Group III.

In 0w-30... I am wanting to try the German Castrol but I cannot find enough of it locally to try it. So instead I think I am going to try Mobil 1 Green Cap. Is anyone here running it? Any opinions? Is Mobil 1 Green Cap a PAO or Group III like German Castrol?
