    Motorcycle Pic's Thread

Well, on the other end of the spectrum... Here are two of my toys - will take more pictures soon to add the rest. 2009 Honda Metropolitan. Don't let the camrea angle fool you, it has a 28" seat height. 2010 Roketa 50cc Moped. 4-spd transmission with auto-clutch.

    HDEO in my bike

Yes, it will be fine. Either one will do - but both are very good oils. I guess if you ride in REALLY cold weather the 5-40 would be preferable. But until you get down to 30-deg. F or colder you won't have a problem with the 15w40 anyway. I've used them (HDEO's) as well as many others on here...

    Mobil 1 10W-40 4T

Yeah, but the SuperTech CI-4+ had a much stouter add-pack than the current version - that's the only reason I (and some others on here) prefer it to the new mix. On the other brands this probably wouldn't apply.

What oil can i use in my scooter

What I use in mine (Yamaha, Honda, Chinese, etc.) is Rotella T 15w40 - or maybe T6 (5w40) in cold weather. It's hard to beat the price/quality mark with HDEO's. Since most scooters have a CVT, they continuously run high rpm's and need all of the protection they can get - more so if yours is...

    Mobil 1 10W-40 4T

Yeah, I recently found some of the older SuperTech 15w40 (CI+) hidden behind the newer CJ-4 bottles. The older stuff being the 'good stuff', I scooped them up immediately. My wife knew then that I was nuts. Thanks BITOG....

    i need a vacuum

I've got an old Kirby G4 that i've had for years (10+) and it still works like new. Change bags and an occasional cleaning - that's all it ever needs.

    City-wide Fall clean-up - entertaining...

Here we go again, all of the junkers will be out this weekend. Last year I paid my $5.00 and had a mounding pile by the curb over the weekend. By noon on Monday, when the city truck came by, I didn't have $1.00 worth of stuff left for the city to take. It's simply amazing what some people will...

    Tires - 27" x 1 1/4"...

I was able to find a pair at my local Wal-Mart. I couldn't believe it - 27x1.25 tires for $15 each! Both tires and tubes replaced for $40 - good for many more miles than i'll probably put on them. And they're solid black too, no gum walls. The bike that they went on is a mid 80's model...

    Scariest Movie Ever???

Another vote for 'Alien' I first saw it at the late show when I was 8-years old. Talk about scaring the (you know what) out of me - especially at that age. My uncle, my cousin, and I went to see it. He knew it would be scary, but not that intense! Great movie - though I wouldn't recommend it for...

    Anyone stocking up on Delo?

Yes, at that price I now have 10-gallons in my stash. Great oil and I can use it in anything I own (except for my cars this coming winter).

    StevieC was banned! What gives?

I just got an email from him at 9:30pm, so sometime in the afternoon i'm guessing. His last post is shown as being 12:49pm so......... Helen gave him a temp. ban apparently (according to the other thread), he came back, behaved himself, and now this?

    StevieC was banned! What gives?

Alright, what the heck is going on? He was permanently banned - no reason given on e-mail or his login screen. He sent me screen pics of his login attempts and any/all emails from BITOG - this is the real thing! What is going on here? No reason? What the? Was this a mistake? Shouldn't there be...

Oil change on my yamaha scooter

Good to hear. If maintained regularly and treated right (no continuous WOT) it should be good for at least another 10000 - 15000 miles before you have to touch that engine - maybe longer. I've seen a few of those around with over 30,000 miles on them and still going strong - no reason to think...
