I was just at my local Walmart looking for PP and the auto parts guy told me they carry the QS synthetic in it's place and that it's the identical oil just a different color bottle. Any truth to this? thanks

My Camaro specifies the 2002 filter from K&N, but i know and have been using the 3002 since it's larger. Therefore being able to hold more oil and have more filtering media. Anyone else agree with this school of thought?

I've got PU 5W20 in my Camaro and am wondering if it's possible to bring the weight up to a near 30? Could i drain about a litre of it and replace it with some 5W40 or 50? If so, does it need to be the same brand?

I've stored my summer car with 5W20 in it not knowing that i really should have stuck with the recommended 5W30 grade. I'm thinking in the spring i might swap it out first thing. I have a new K&N filter on it as well. My question is - i can i keep that filter on without having to swap in a new one?

I've had an open 5L jug of PP with about 4L left in my garage from about July to November - it's been inside since and always capped. Is it ok to use this oil in my car? Or would it have absorbed some moisture or something to make it unsafe? thanks

My Nissan specs 5W30 and am wondering if a 0W30 is safe? I dont really know what the difference between the '0' and '5' is? I would be comparing PP/PU 5W30 vs GC 0W30. thanks

I'm going to be running PP 5W30 in my Nissan 1.6L turbo. I'm trying to decide on an appropriate oil filter. The choices i was thinking of are Napa Gold or Purolator Pure One. I'm not sure of price differences between the two yet. What do you all think?

The car is a Nissan Juke 1.6L turbo Direct Injection. I will stick with the Nissan recommended 5W30 and am thinking of PP or PU. I'm hoping a synthetic oil will help the turbo as it will not have a turbo timer. thanks

Basically what is the difference? Ive just taken possession of my new 2011 Nissan Juke with a 1.6L turbo engine. Nissan recommends 5W30, but will PU 5W20 work safely? Once it's broken in, i'm thinking of going to synthetic at the first oil change interval of 6K. thanks
