I'm about to put a Microguard oil filter I got from Advance Auto parts in my 1992 lincoln towncar. I got it as an oil deal-----you now, 5 quarts & oil filter for $$$$$. Is it any good? Or is it bad like a Fram?

My 2005 Craftsman riding lawnmower Keeps getting vapor locked every time I choke it to get started. I have to fix it by putting starting fluid on the air filter, and take off the gas cap. Is this "vapor lock"? How can I prevent this?

I am going to change the oil in my 1992 Lincoln Towncar. It has been in there since the first of 2008. It hasn't been driven that much, maby just 500 MI It has Carstol 10w-40 in it, because it burns thin oil. Is two years to long to leave the old oil in it? It is going to be driven ALOT more...

Thank god for this general and off-topic fourm. Pheww...... I have a 2 and one half year old blue heeler, she is very gentle, and behaves good most of the time. But.... she loves to get in the road. Anyone have an idea on how I could fix this? Scolding her don't help.

On my 2002 MTD, it starts to puff white smoke after it heats up, and black smoke when it first starts. What is the difference between white and black smoke?

Well, new to me. We got it about 2 months ago. It has the 7.3 diesel and 165,000 miles. We just changed the oil & filter, and gave it a good inspection. Everything looks fine, condering It'll only be used once a week to haul hay in the winter time.

I'm just wondering. In my 1993 F-150, an FL-1A is all it's ever seen. What do you think???
