I've had two Fords that have gone over 300K.

Check with Rock Auto. I recently bought one from them for a tail light for my 2007 Ford Fusion. Total price was 68 bucks with tax and it looks and fit like the original.

I've used the MC FL 910s for years on my 2007 Fusion and my 21HP Briggs engine and have never had a problem.

I have a Craftsman 42 in 21 HP engine that's 12 years old. No way of knowing the hrs. I use M1 10-30 and change it every 2 years. Oil filter is a MC FL 910s. Only real repair was a head gasket when it was 4 yrs old.

If it's chain rattle I don't see where that could be considered normal.

I don't believe I would go beyond 5-30.

I do welding work for a auto repair garage and they tell me Hyundai and Kia are their top brands for engine failures.

I only use M1 atf in my 2007 Fusion, and the trans still shifts great both up and down. M1 atf meets several types of trans. By the way my trans is the FNR-5 five speed.

The block in ecoboost engines certainly did have the coolant problem because of the way the coolant passage was machined between cyl 2-3, which resulted in head gasket failures and block replacements. Thats why I chose the 2.5 NA engine in my 2017 Fusion. Also the dual clutch trans is a failure...

So your biased. Yes and a friend bought a new diesel Merecedes and the engine failed after 40K because the oil pump failed. Yes some Masada's have failed also because of engine failures. etc.

This Ford is right in line with all the Fords I've owned in the last 50 plus years. Long before Ford bought into Mazda. Some had up to 350K. I drive my cars for years and get all the worth from them I can, as I take good care of them.

Well the Fusion is at 315,000K and the engine doesn't consume oil as you predicted and no sign of engine wear. The engine and trans still perform very well. Still doing 10K OCIs with the engine and 30-35K with the trans.
