    M1 EP question

I noticed that too in the M1's product guide. They did it in their 0W-20s for some reason. The AFE 0W-20 is the same way, 650 and 750 phos and zinc. The other Mobil 1 varieties and viscosities like the 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30 are all 800/900 phos and zinc.

Not another "Hybrid Full Synthetic" motor oil? This time Valvoline

Yeah, it is like Valvoline saying that their Advanced 0W-20 wouldn't work well in hybrids engines, they had to come out with a specific oil for hybrids. Contrast Valvoline approach to introduce a new hybrid oil to that of Mobil. Mobil says they test Mobil 1 in hybrid engines and it does well...

I noticed some brands use the red color to signify high temperature grease, instead of general multi-purpose grease. The red high temperature can be used in wheel bearings with disc brakes, whereas general purpose grease is not to be used in brake disc wheel bearings. It is not made to take the...

A Mobil filter with issues. Yep seriously everyone makes a few Lators! Mann & Hummel makes the original, and best WORST! It's no accident they're making this new batch of M1 filters with issues. Yes, they are making filters that have issues (slices in the ADBV) or torn media. It is...

Hey Everyone, My brother and I believe the ignition control module on his 1997 Civic is going bad. He is going to replace it in the next couple of days, but, he was wondering if the ignition coil should be replaced at the same time? Is it a good idea to replace both? Thanks,
