With my diesel, especially in the summer, between 1/2 & 1/4. Better to keep diesel cooler due to asphaltene. The car, just above 1/4. With in tank fuel pumps, it is not good to go down too low. The pump can pull air with the low fuel level. Not good for pumps.

I bought a bunch of it at Costco. The wash seems to work OK. As for all of the rest of it, wax, interior, headlight restorer etc, I have not been overly impressed. Other products do a better job. Would not buy again.

I have a 2015 Impala, same engine. As far as the filter goes, GM has a TSB regarding filters. They want the bypass valve at about 22PSI (IIRC). There was also an issue with oil passages plugging up from silicon anti drain back valves. I don't remember where I read about these issues. Either here...

I used the ribbed Magnefine and the smooth Wix (Filtran) on my transmission. One of the Wix (Filtran) started leaking at the seam. Almost pumped out all of the transmission fluid. If you take them apart, the Magnefine has way bigger magnets than the Filtran. I had no problems with the ribbed...

I've used a salt water brine to remove coffee stains from carpet. Worked good and is cheap.
