Is there any way to find out which engines use composite camshafts without opening the engine? I can't find any information on camshaft material in the parts diagrams on Briggs' site. Specifically, I'm interested in a 6.5 HP OHV engine model 120312-0132-E1 if anyone is familiar with it.

I am considering running Amsoil Series 2000 2 cycle oil in my JetSki next summer instead of the recommended TCW-3. My only concern is that since the Series 2000 is a racing oil, it will not contain nearly the levels of detergent that TCW-3 rated oil will. Should I worry?
