    ok am using the 7000 - is there really a big diff in keeping the engine clean/etc using full syn. oil.. if the cost is not that much more - i thought about going to the 9000 5/40 syn.

    First - Any REAL negitive issues with using a oilgaurd bypass.. Was thinking about a AMSOIL - but the filters are way $$$ (as most know).. The oilguard is $13 which I would change with oil change.. I would rather change it then have a extended high $$$ that was not "new" when changing oil.. **...
