    Transfer Oil Too Thick?

All - I drained my front 4x4 transfer case, 2005 Grand Cherokee WK, this week and noticed the gear lube seemed thick....maybe an 85w-140? The factory Mopar fill calls for 5016796 fluid (Mopar MS-10216) specifically for the front, which I used. I am the second owner of the Jeep, currently at...

OCI 5w30 TSC Oil - Now Noisy

Changed out my OCI 2 weeks ago with 5w30 Traveller Full Syn & using a Fram Extra Guard filter. I understand that WP oil products package this brand for TSC. I added 1 quart of 10w30 to make it a little thicker. Now my 4.7 v-8 (2005 Jeep with 90k original miles) is making 'sloshing' sound like...

    Mopar 75w-140

Find I'm having to need a change of diff rear gear fluid after 30,000 miles: I've been told to use 75w-140 for potential towing purposes...and not the 75w-90. Is this correct? I remember seeing this in old magazine ads, as a product for cleaning & as a gun lube. Is it still any good? They seem to promote is as used for RC hobby enthusiasts now: https://fiendoil.store

TiLube brand ... Bad or Good?

I recall a few years ago that some 'off brand' companies selling quart bottles of oil were not legit...in fact, some being what appeared as used motor oil. Does anyone know anything about this company? They have a label which seems similar to those older labels...

Ok to mix 5w30 and 10w30 for an 4.7 Jeep?

I'm on my 3rd Jeep in 30 years (2005 WK Grand Cherokee) and the mileage is 90k on the 4.7l Engine. Vehicle is new to me. With summer coming up and OCI due around July, will it handle a mix 50/50 mix of 5w30 and 10w30 OK? Temps where I live are 75-105 degrees in late summer. (Previous engines...

    Why is Valvoline ATF+4 more?

Price matching the original Mopar ATF+4 versus Valvoline Full Synthetic ATF+4 bottles for my 545RFE transmission...I noticed the Valvoline always seems to list for a higher price. Anyone know why?
