2015 Odyssey - Most expensive brake service ever...

My apologies for replying to an older thread, but for my wife’s 2014 Odyssey, I picked up these from rockauto after the rotors kept warping: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1904400&cc=0&pt=1896&jsn=446 (rotors)...

Ever had a transmission fail? On what vehicle?

My 64 beetle's trans failed on my way to work. Just made it to the base enterance, looked at the cop and said, "I'm going to make just to that side street." He laughed and I totally broke. The trans was 50 years old so...

My old mailman used to make it a sport to see if my packages can fit in my mailbox. Dude must have been a legend at Tetris.

    Robo Calls/Telemarketers

I have fun with them by sounding exactly like a recording. I say stuff like, "Hello and thank you for calling the screw you corporation, a division of anchors away, for all your home hardware mounting needs..." by then they hang up. Or, I'll practice my voices that I hope to someday use in cartoons.

What other hobbies do you have?

Alright so I tried to upload this and apparently I couldn't so let's try this again. Here are some pics of my Weber collection (minus my 3 Smokey joes) and a cool vintage jack I plan on restoring later down the road.

What other hobbies do you have?

Besides my family and VWs, I am also part of the Weber kettle club. I own 15 Webers to date, all kettle version in all shapes and sizes. I find them, either clean up and/or restore them, then cook. I have a dedicated smoker, steak one, chicken one, and lil cooker for breakfasts. Most I have ever...

Harbor Freight tools that are good

I always buy their wrenches and carry them in my car. That way if someone needs one and will "return" it, I'm at no big loss when they don't. I also use their 9.99 angle grinder a lot. It's never broke on me and I've cut through 1/4in steel plate with it. I avoid their impact screwdriver...

    VW Air-Cooled oil filter

Just wondering if anyone else on here has their air-cooled VW set-up with an external oil filter. Mine is built into the oil pump and is from VW Mexico. If you do, what filter do you use? I have heard WIX, Mann, Purelator are at the top of the list. Thanks!
