    5W20 instead of 5W30

If 5W-20 were available when your engines were made they would have specified 5W-20 especially the newer SM versions, it's just a better, newer engine oil. I run the Chevron .59 cent 5W-20 SM in my '03 accord, '98 civic, '97 CRV which tows occationally...none sound weird or burn any oil...couple...

    Some info on gasoline brands...

Bush administration de-regulated all the additive requirements back in '01, one of his first accomplishments for the refinery industry, they'll add whatever they deem necessary and if you don't like it, buy your gasoline elsewhere, free market will dictate issues like this...DOH?...DOH?..saved...

How necessary is it to winterize a bike?

I wouldn't start at all unless you could ride it for at least an hour..if your electrical system is tite don't do a thing, charged batteries like the cold..fuel today is better than ever, couple, three, four months won't bother that either, keep the cap on, fill it full. I have 1400 mi. on my...

These Valvoline quick changes have popped-up all around here, so I let them do a complementry 5w-20 & filter in my sons 98 civic, glad it was free, otherwise $31! (I do my own for less than $5)..bet they do 60 oil changes a day..anyway, Valvoline used to be a premium brand but I've heard nothing...

    M1 10w-30 / 2,700 miles / 2002 Jeep - 6 cyl

I'd be using a lighter and much cheaper 5-20 oil...then again, these units aren't real long for the world anyway...thats alot of gear to be driving short trips on paved road where they have the best snowplows tax money can buy. jmho.

    (.59 Cent) Chevron 5W-20.... 7,470 mi. Honda 2.4

Uncle Sam gives so much per mile regardless of OCI or price per qt. LMAO!! He doesn't even care if you drive a Hummer or an Accord...same write-off. If a shorter OCI wasn't suguested based on this low wear UOA at 7,500 mi. why would anyone shorten it even further?..I see some of these nit-wits...

    (.59 Cent) Chevron 5W-20.... 7,470 mi. Honda 2.4

46,500 mi. now and the coolant kept perfect level, nothing ever added. I've been thinking that BlackStone must have screwed-up or mixed it up with another UOA which casts doubt on the whole effort or the HondaGenuine 5W-20 from the previous fill and the fact that I didn't change the filter out...
