Spray lubricants getting too expensive. What are some alternatives?

Mine never did that. This must be the "upgrade" on the newer cans which made them double in price or so. 😒 I have like 8 cans of the older LW laying around with just a spray or two left and they spray with almost nothing left. Thanks for the ST vote. I am probably going to go with the acetone...

Spray lubricants getting too expensive. What are some alternatives?

Concur, but the irony is that this stuff was cheaper at big box stores. Those 41% off coupons for advance auto are long gone.

Spray lubricants getting too expensive. What are some alternatives?

Still make more than a great many but I avoid wasting money on things that should not have tripled in price in 4 years. I don't even eat fast food. Hell I don't even eat lunch half the time. A can a year? I use a can quarterly. I have numerous older vehicles and that just plain works for me...

Spray lubricants getting too expensive. What are some alternatives?

I have been considering that for a bit. Still pricier but I supertech everything like brake clean, r134, get it up to 35 dollars and then get free shipping. How is it vis a vis liquid wrench which was my economical go to over pb blaster. Thanks.

Thanks. Brake cleaner itself is still very cheap per se unless I misunderstood the totality of your post.

Spray lubricants getting too expensive. What are some alternatives?

Not too long ago I would stock up on Advance Auto Parts liquid wrench cans for lkke 2.50 a can with coupon code. I am broker today than I was then and can't see paying 7.50 a can for the same thing today. I have all these old cans with just a spritz left because I am scared to get rid of them...

Oil filter for 7.3 liter powerstroke diesel?

Hello, I got the help I needed here on oil type for my 02 7.3 psd for which I have settled on TSC Travellers oil for the buck and 5k OCI. What say you about the oil filters? I am not inclined to spend alot there either. The stock motorcraft is getting expensive especially for such a short OCI...

    7.3 PSD 2002 Ford Excursion 4x4....202k...which oil?

Hey, New to me vehicle. I have always wanted one and decided to pull the plug and couldn't be happier. With the 15 quarts of oil needed per oil change and a factory OCI of 5k miles I think that oil choice is pretty doggone important especially since I have a few other vehicles. I have all...

0w-40 M1 FS Euro Synthetic a good choice for my 04 Forester XT with EJ257?

I got rid of those long ago. There are some sick UOA(s) out there with folks running 17k miles and being fine on Subaruforester.org. I don't think I want to do that. Thanks for your thoughts. May go 7500k OCI and see.

0w-40 M1 FS Euro Synthetic a good choice for my 04 Forester XT with EJ257?

I went for it. Engine is now very smooth and quiet for a modded boxer. Anyone want to suggest an OCI with the Subaru blue filter?
