#238 seems the obvious choice for pins & bushings and yes its messy

Deciding on which weight diesel oil for 2000 7.3L Ford Diesel

Diesel and 15W-40 is like apple and pork....why change a perfect pairing. Cold climate - plug your truck in, its a diesel.

    Battery Charger Frustration

I am not convinced there is a 'good' charger made anymore, have some old ones that keep trucking.....I have had most of the modern ones....the bigger the amperage, the bigger the $ hit when they fail it seems.

    5w40 / 5w50

If that's the case - I would use a block heater or a webasto - which in that climate is practically a necessity anyway.

Rethinking 5w-40 vs 15w-40 for my low use diesels

15W-40 all day long unless under 10°F - then I would look at engine heaters for sure....but I'd still use 15W-40

    5w40 / 5w50

just throw 15W-50 mobil 1 in it - it will shear too, but keep your OCI short....it's relatively cheap

    Snowblower coatings?

Ski wax - preferably the type that is applied hot - last longer...

    F150 Owners With V-8

Lisle oil filter wrench is almost always the best....for a reason If you have to gorilla it nothing beats a seatbelt strap wrench, but it will crush the can and is slower.

Oily drops from grease gun mobil 1. Is it breaking down ??

That would be 'drop-point'...it's not drip-point.

    MB 229.1/3/5 fuel economy

MB dealers in the US don't generally even use the fleece filters themselves. Don't know if its because of price or availability. When I got some for the wife's 2017 300E I could not even find any fleece media ones, so just got the MANN normal ones...I change every 5000 so don't see an issue anyway.

Chevron Delo 400 XSP 5W-40 experiences in 6.7L Ford

6.7PSD - just use the Motorcraft oil available at walmart. It has the necessary specs.

Oil Weight for Doosan LPG Forklift

Ours is a G25S-2 with a Hercules propane engine - we it has use 15W-40 and it has 5800 hours so far. It has a hard life so I wouldn't wanna go thinner.

    Brake pads and rotors.

Don't know about rotors, but I have installed 3 sets of Wagner Thermoquiet pads on 3 vehicles and have been awed everytime. Great performance (always improved) and great low wear.

    MB 5W40 229.5 Supplier?

ExxonMobil in the USA (aka Mobil) edywhatever will start talking about Petronas - which supplies next to nobody in the USA

    Mobil 1 5w40 Euro

I said similar. Are you saying the MB OEM 5W-40, 229.5 is made by Petronas as opposed to XOM?
