Yeah thats right the delco has it and the wix doesnt.Ive always heard that wix makes the best filter so Id like to stick with wix as long as this spring issue is OK

My truck uses a Delco PF48 which has a spring of some sort inside of it if you look into the hole where it screws on.I ent this morning and bought 2 Wix filters for it and see that they dont have this spring.Is this a problem?

Well I ended up getting a new one.I got a HP pavilion.Its got an AMD 2.6ghz processer 2 GB of ram and a 320GB hard drive.Funny thing is is I got it for half the price of the computer I replaced.

Changed the engine oil and filter today and boy am I glad I didnt wait any longer.With 650 miles on the oil it looked like it had glitter in it in the sunlight.

I used Royal purple 10w30 in a 2.2 Chevy for 3 years hitting redline daily and it still runs like a champ.
