I saw everything.
Factory tires on a car (Fiat) were Bridgestone B250 Ecopia, the same B250 Ecopia didn't have the same part number (4 digits) and the same environmental ratings than the factory one, and behaved differently especially when wet
Michelin factory tires which were the same and had...
Purflux CS435A went on, I'll be cutting it open when replacing too. Worth noting that Purflux is now having white boxes with stickers when coming from Sogefi South Africa, so I'm curious if they even kept the chevron-pleated media in. We'll see. from the exterior it doesn't look quality as I...
this is a filter that has been put through WVO during anywhere between 10000-26000 kilometers, I lost track. replaced it because restriction was causing my saddle tank system to starve fuel at half tank due to low return feed pressure, while not having performance issue at high load high rpm.
or a bad HPFP. Warning folks, especially with top-mounted, cam-driven piston pumps. once the seals go bad, they drop fuel into the crankcase and kills your engine.
140000 kilometers, the plastic cam cover is leaking a lil bit of oil from the seal at the front, so maybe that's where the black on top of the lever comes? or leak from the bushing yes.

So, after speculating and procrastinating for thousand of kilometers, I finally figured out, by simply removing the turbo cover, why the car is losing power day after day with no explanation (and no MIL) at all:
As some of you would figure out, the wastegate pin and journal are equally wore...
For me, anything below 12.6V is a test, or charge and retest, or a replace. and anything below 12.2V where the charging system is okay goes straight in the bin
Someone heard the car noises when I arrived at a car meet today and immediately mentioned "it seems you have a wastegate rattle". I googled and found a fair share of YouTube videos sounding a bit like the sounds I had that I attributed to GDI noises.
Mine sometimes goes like this: especially...
