I placed an old working plug into the wire on number 2 while using jumper cable to ground it and cranked it and got no spark. Placed the setup plug directly into number 2 output on the coil pack and no spark.

If the fans are in the bathroom ceiling then each need there own hose/roof vent. If they were tied together then when fan 1 is on it would blow air out the vent and the back into other tied bathroom fan 2. Only way around this is if you had a fan in the attic with the Y placed before the fan...

Replace valve cover had small leak that produce odor from burning on exhaust. Spark plug tubes seals didnt leak but since they are old and non replaceable I went with a news aftermarket valve cover with seals.
