Crower Cams just disssed my Schaeffers Oil

A main reason(s) to restrict oil in a full roller application to control oil flow. Roller applicatons do not need the volume of oil of say a flat tappet application. In some applications without restrictors you can tend to flood the topend. It is much better to have oil available in the pan for...

[/qb] Many engine builders regard Crower lifters as being more durable than most on the market except for the $2,000+ Jesel lifters. [/QB] Wow, interesting you should say that about the Jesel. We were talking about that with the Porter last night. I mention in jest maybe I should jsut buy a...

I run Scheaffers 20/50 blend in my nitrous small block Chevy motor. We make 750 to 800 HP on the juice. We also use it in our Extreme Street Pro Nitrous big block making over 1100 HP, 400 of which is via the nitrous.

Hi all, new to the board but have lurked for years. Really could use some insight on an issue I ran into today on teardown of my motor. Appreciate any insight or thoughts and sorry this is a bit long. I run an all aluminum 454 small block street/ strip motor in my 70 Camaro. It's a bit of a...
