There are Walmarts about 30 miles closer to Chicago that stock PUP. Then a few that don’t and then a pocket of stores that do. Is PUP not DEXOS?

I got $29.44 on Amazon. Saw that Walmart online price the same. My Walmart does not stock PUP.

Just bought PUP first time. No DEXOS label on jug. My Mazda doesn’t care.

Planned to add fresh gas.

I’m rebuilding the carb. Hopefully Stabil kept gas from spoiling. I’ve had good luck so far with a couple small engines.

71 Chevelle. 350 rebuilt 30 years ago. Always ran but leaked gas so we pushed it to its current spot in the garage out of the elements.

Gasoline mixed with oil is coming out. Any harm in using 15W-50? I’m not much of a thicky and I bought this out of curiosity. Also, the cheapest. Can buy at Walmart under $25 for 5 qt jug. Mobil 1’s high ZDDP oil.

Chevy 350 hasn’t run in 6 years. We will squirt Marvel Mystery oil in the cylinders. I have Mobil 1 15W-50 and 10W-30 ZDDP oil in several varieties. Before we hand turn the crank we will prime the oil pump until we see oil in the pushrods. Does it make any difference which one we use?

Swapping the Weather Tech mats for original carpet mats. Snow blower and shovels put away and I have mowed twice.

Did it not come with oil or was there something wrong with the oil it came with? I would think the best break-in oil came with the truck.

Yesterday both cars. Saturn Valvoline EP Maxlife 5W-30, Wix 51522 again. First filter I noticed Made in Mexico. Looked about the same except for overspray. Mazda Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20, Wix 57002. First time Pennzoil in this car. Got Ultra at Amazon under $30. First time Wix filter too...
