And yes, likely you over tightened the valves by 0.01-0.02 mm. Hold the feeler gauge with 2 fingers only like a feather and you should feel only slight resistance by your fingers. No struggling when you insert the feeler gauge.

I didn't have any problem with my BRZ last winter. I have narrower tires for the winter. Can't tell if the stock size would have been better or worse. I tried to find tires as narrow as possible. Ended up with 195/60R16 tires.

A serious manufacturer cannot make products like that in any country. Either it is not a serious manufacturer any more or this filter is counterfeit.

I wouldn't buy them. You can google a few pictures of these filters. They are likely among the worst.

Partsource has low everyday prices on AGIP oils. About $5 per litre for a synthetic oil and below $3 for a blend. The funny thing people even don't look at it. Everybody is busy buying a Castrol oil on sale for about $8-$9 per litre.

I run this filter in a Subaru. Used them before in a Honda. Trust them 100%.
