I don't know the best brands, but stay away from LG and Samsung. Those two brands always have parts shortages because they break so often.

Has the vehicle been wrecked? That's abnormal for Toyota. Could also be a battery getting ready to fail or loose connection.

I'd be surprised if the dealer does anything if it's only consuming a quart every 2500 miles. That is not considered excessive. I would try changing to M1 EP. I've had a few cars that would consume Pennzoil but not M1 or Motul. Just because an engine consumes oil doesn't mean it doesn't need oil...

Stick to brands like Panduit, Burndy or AMP for those types of connectors. The Chineseium from China Freight are cheap junk and do not hold up to vibration and other factors as well. You won't see China Freight connectors used on commercial/industrial jobs.

It's even worse with 34" inseam pants.
