    Super cleaning windshield

Using steel wool 0000 can remove most of the blemishes, but if want to remove scratches, then you will need to polish it using a glass polish such as griots. Here is a video that can help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D05vX-G9iV4

Correct. Not sure why I mentioned 531. 531 is for vinyl and rubber and another great product. Originally Posted By: satinsilver Originally Posted By: mmab Duragloss 531. Has better cleaning ability and durability. Also very economical. I think you meant 501 which is their Marine polish and...

Where do you get your cabin filters?

I get mine at handa. For civic this should be the link. http://www.handa-accessories.com/civmaint01.html Shipping is high, I usually club multiple items to justify the shipping costs, else you lose the benefit of buying online

Worst car to change cabin filter on?

One of the worst designs I have seen. It looked like you had to ruin the new filter to install it. I would never know if it was fixed right. Until now, I kept think my honda odyssey 2001 was the most difficult. Atleast honda has fixed it in the newer models; My 2009 accord takes a minute to...

How to make clear coat / paint last a LONG time

If you have never detailed before and do not intend to spend a lot, then just use nuFinish. It's a cleaner wax and does not need any prep work. It also provides UV protection, which is useful in FL. If money is not a constraint, you have many options - collinite, duragloss, wolfgang etc...

    Very impressed with Meguiars products

I like their professional detailer series, especially the APC. They all come in gallons and are very economical.

    Areospace 303 on Tires

303 looks great on the tires. I use it on my tires too. However, it does not last if it rains.

hazed look to plastic headlights lens/covers....?

There is a UV coating on every headlight, which deteriorates over time. Sanding removes oxidation but the result will not stay long unless you apply some kind of UV protection. One of the threads in another forum suggests the use of spar urethane as a UV coating, which has worked for many. Here...

Buying tires from sears... ha ha they're crooked

Sears customer services sucks...I bought the tires from them and thy made me buy all kinds of lifetime guarantees, which I thought might be useful. Recently, I realized the stem valve was leaking air, which I could hear, so I immediately drove to Sears to get it fixed. When I reached there he...

how do I avoid water spots?

Use a water blade, but make sure it is clean, else it can cause scratches. It will remove most of the water and then you can use your CG microfiber towel to dry. Works well for me.
