    Break in Oil?

    Sure it's not 50 hrs.500 sound like to long. Last 2 Deere diesels I've had required 50-100 hrs on break in oil. Deere uses a 10w30 for break in. Jim

    15w 40 to thick?

    Running Rotella T6 5-40 in mine year around. Tried Amsoil, Mobil 1 ESP, and now Rotella. JD Plus 50 ll is real good oil, wish they would make a 5-40. Jim

    Did I Overfill?

    Did you fill to the top of the hash marks or the hole? The hash marks are full, hole is max. Not recommended to fill to the hole. My wives Focus is dead on the top hash with 4.5 qts. My Focus ST calls for 5.7 qt and that is pretty close, without measuring out ounces. If it took that much to put...
