I had an issue with a STP oil filter to where i cross threaded and when I started the engine oil came gashing out from it. After that I stopped using STP filters.

Is Carquest OK to use for a 2001 Camry?

They didn't say how they install it. They just said installed and leaked.

I've read some reviews on the Oreilly website about Microgard select filters leaking.

They are insulated so tieing them together should not cause a cross fire.

Is it OK for one of the spark plug wires in a 2001 Toyota Camry to touch the valve cover? I changed my spark plugs and spark plug wires but the clip that holds the wires broke so I have them tied together with zip ties. One of them still touches the engine. Is that going to burn the insulation...

If it has an ADBV it should be protecting the engine during startup and I shouldn't be getting an oil light. The oil light should go off immediately after I start the engine.
