I drive my 1985 F250 with a 6.9 Liter diesel engine about 500 miles per week. The official crankcase capacity is 10 quarts, or 2.5 US gallons.
I’m usually about 1-2 qts over full most times… probably because if it gets 2 quarts low, I just dump in a whole gallon.
This truck burns a gallon of...
Walmart sold a bunch of 2 gallon jugs of this stuff a few years ago on clearance, I think for right around 1💵/quart
I’ve been dumping it in my ol’ Ford tractor & in my International Harvester 6.9 Liter Diesel engine in my 1985 F250. That engine specs calls for a CC/CD oil.
I still see it in...
I still have like 8 gallons of the stuff left…
I don’t remember how much I originally purchased - but it was a lot.
Getting ready to do an oil change with this stuff on the 6.9 International Harvester diesel V8 in my 1986 F250. The original spec for this engine requires a CC/CD oil.
The International Harvester 6.9 V8 diesel in my 1986 F250 receives a steady diet of at least 20% (very finely filtered) waste oil in every tank. I would love to do an HFRR test on that blend.
My primary concern is cetane…
So l always add a cetane improver
If you want a much larger version of the same, 22mm thread filter,
You can choose a Wix 51592 - - or one from this list:

Yes, I honestly would *NOT* do it without a centrifuge
The early 90's version of "Cummins Service Bulletin 3379001" (waste oil added to fuel)
used to allow 10% - - they have since revised it to 5%.
Still better to centrifuge the oil, no matter what

Honestly, the older style rotary pumps ( Roosa/Stanadyne DB series, & the Bosch VE series) actually handle it better. 100% even works if the oil is heated
“Touch screen” is just one more thing to fail prematurely……
I desire to have ZERO touch screens in any vehicle that I ever own, now - - or in the future
