Looking at two different sites.. Two different product ranges.
USA - https://www.valvolineglobal.com/en/motor-oil/
Middle East and Africa - https://www.valvolineglobal.com/en-mea/motor-oil/
Would be great if Valvoline had a the same products for everyone, all over the world. Even companies like...
Thanks. All good over here. Roads are still a mess with parts of major highways closed because of the standing water, or should I say lakes. LOL.
Dubai isn't a city built for rain. We rarely get any. I've been here 30 years and I can say that apart from this recent storm, we only had one other...
I looked for Valvoline Advanced over here in Dubai and the local dealer told me that they don't get it.
They get products from Vavoline's global line which is.
Valvoline Synpower 5w30
Valvoline All Climate 5w30
Has anyone on here used them or have a UOA or VOA
Any idea how these stack up...

Tried to add it myself, but couldn't.
Saw a post on the Ram forum where someone was running LM Molygen, MoS2 and LM Hydraulic Lifter Fluid in his truck with no issues.
Yesterday I took the plunge and did the same - well Molygen 5w30 and Lifter fluid. I didn't use MoS2 - although I am tempted to try. The old oil was M1 FS 0w40. I...
I saw a thread of someone using LM Molygen 5w30 and MoS2 as well as LM Hydraulic Lifter Fluid in his engine.
I just used LM Molygen 5w30 with Hydraulic Lifter fluid in my current oil change yesterday. So far, I like how the engine sounds.
The previous oil in it was Mobil 1 FS 0w40. I noticed...
Facing the lifter failure twice was more user error. I went to be cheap.
I would consider replacing the truck, however I've put more into it with the android head unit, the 4" lift, etc. Getting new truck would mean spending large amounts on a new lease and then even more giving it the mods that...
My Ram 2014 has the 8 speed ZF 845RE and a couple of months ago I noticed that there was a shudder when it was driving at low speeds (40 - 60kph). Took it to the mechanic and figured that the transmission oil was due for a change. It was time for a major fluid change anyways, considering the...
Its not that bad an engine, despite what people might say. I would say that if you use a good 5w30 like Redline and change the oil every 3000 - 4000 miles, you should be fine.
Same here.. Apparently it is touted as the best oil if you have a v8 Hemi with that dreaded lifter tick. Doesn't cure it, just quietens the engine down so much that you think its cured.
If using 5w30 oil didn't solve the lifter tick, then you could ago thicker. IMO the sure way to solve a lifter tick is replace the lifters.
I can't say for the 3.6, but as someone who has faced the dreaded lifter tick 3 times on 2 different Ram trucks with the 5.7 V8 engine, I learned a good...
