I always pulled the top of mine up high enough to see that it sits in the groove all the way around. I never needed a mirror to see that it fit. Maybe the 3.8 had more room and the view or flexibility of the top is less on the 3.6? I don´t know. But I do know my filters always did fit. I am...
2021 Jeep Gladiator 3.6 Pentastar.
40,636 miles, 5,975 on the oil.
Out: Mobil 1 EP 0w20, Fram Ultra filter.
In: Mobil 1 EP 0w20, Mobil 1 filter (from my stash, purchased about 4 years ago for 2 bucks!)
I´ll go 5k on this run since I will be fairly frequently towing a boat.
Wow.
Well, I guess it depends on whom is installing it. Anyone with any measure of skill or common sense would see that it doesn´t fit properly or snugly. If the seal didn´t fit in the housing groove, I would have never completed the installation and would have noticed the problem.

So if automated, they should have every license plate of every vehicle and know exactly to whom the vehicles belonged. So it would be the families who would help with who might have been in the cars. Then there are the construction workers...pothole crews.
It should not be hard for...
I don´t see the provision for that in my account. But even if that is so, they must have a way to know it is a rental, maybe by the plate? I can´t see where you can just give it to a friend or use it in an unregistered non-rental car. Maybe they don´t care. But I don´t see that anywhere in...
You can switch it from car to car if both cars are registered. If you switch it to an unregistered car it won´t work. I think they are doing that because it is cheaper. Makes perfect sense. Just get two stickers if you have 2 cars. Still cheaper than the little box.
Even if that Fram fit, I still like the Carquest style. I´ve run that a few times and I feel like there is more filtering area and less obstruction from the framing.
Got more pics? I am not sure, but I think it uses the same filter that my 08 Wrangler used. I ran an Ultra before I sold it and it fit just fine. So it could be, as you state, a manufacturing defect. Or did they pack the wrong filter into the box?
Do you have more pics from different...
I love the SR9c.
Btw, I have not read the whole thread, but you can use the 17 round mags in that gun, too. They fit right in and you can even get a spacer to extend the grip.
I carried a 9c every day. Now I carry a Ruger LCP Max with 13 rounds. Little bitty gun. Big capacity. Tritium...
